Palliative Care, known within the fetal center and Primary Children's Hospital as Rainbow Kids, provides specialized support for families facing life-limiting or uncertain fetal diagnoses. The team focuses on optimizing quality of life, guiding complex decisions, and ensuring compassionate continuity of care before, during, and after delivery.
Social workers in a fetal center play a critical role in supporting families as they navigate the emotional, social, and logistical complexities of a fetal diagnosis. They provide counseling, connect families with community and hospital resources, and ensure continuity of care from prenatal consultation through delivery and beyond.
The Ronald McDonald House is a home-away-from-home for families of pediatric patients receiving treatment at Salt Lake City’s world-class hospital programs serving the Intermountain area and beyond.
